The Grimaldi Forum's eco-responsible commitment is strong in the wake of the Principality's announcement of their goal to reduce its CO2 emissions by 55% by 2030. ISO 14001 certified since 2008 here at the GFM we have developed an effective environmental management system as well as supporting our customers for several years by organising events that are increasingly environmentally friendly. This Green commitment has become an important decision-making factor for the majority of our customers !
LAYOUT OF THE SPACES

SECURITY & FIRE SAFETY
The Grimaldi Forum Monaco has made safety a top priority.
Thanks to their human element and high-performance equipment, all events are carried out within an optimal security environment.
As part of its commitment to continuously improve the environment, in 2022 the Grimaldi Forum Monaco equipped itself with 255 next-generation water mist extinguishers containing a biodegradable ABF additive. These fire extinguishers are ready to use by simply removing the pin, and specialised training is no longer needed to water down the previously used ultra-polluting additive!

From coffee breaks to cocktail or gala dinners, business lunches and cash bars, our team will coordinate your accredited catering services for you. They'll guide you through the various stages of preparing your event to provide you with a tailor-made culinary proposal and an overall price offer with no surprises.

LIGHT UP THE BUILDING AND YOUR EVENT
The GFM has lighting equipment with 86% "low consumption energy." It allows you to consume 100% green energy as part of its SunE contract with SMEG, the national electricity operator, which has installed 2,500 m² of photovoltaic panels on its roof. This facility makes the congress and culture centre the first producer of solar energy in the Principality, which can be seen by the public at the entrance to the Grimaldi Forum.
SPECIALISED MOUNTING TO FIT YOUR EVENT
In 2016, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco initiated an eco-design approach in our exhibitions, focusing first on the waste created by scenography design.
Our first objectives were to reduce the production of this waste at the source, to reuse its scenography, and to recycle the materials used while maintaining the same level of aesthetics and respecting the constraints related to conserving the works.
This eco-responsible exhibition initiative is part of the Monaco Government Congress and Cultural Centre's ISO 14001 certification, obtained for the first time in 2008 based on the continuous improvement of our environmental performance.

Printing receipts upon customer request
Exclusive use of recycled/recyclable/bio-based kraft bags and plastic-free supplies (poster tubes without caps, removal of bubble wrap, etc.)
Reduced rate when presenting a train ticket to encourage public transport during the summer exhibition season
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
In order to limit the environmental impact of your event, the Grimaldi Forum offers:
The use of a selection of eco-labelled products,
A team involved every day with recommendations for selective sorting and recycling,
Constantly-optimised waste management,
During the setup/dismantling phases, several containers are available for recycling small waste (cardboard, glass, paper, non-recyclable materials, household waste, plastics, etc.), including containers for wood,
During the event period, waste is sorted daily according to category (bottles, boxes, etc.).
Carpet recycling: 100% of the carpet used at the Grimaldi Forum is recyclable and recycled through a sorting chain located in Italy. One part of the carpet is placed back into the supplier's production cycle to be turned into thermoplastic vehicle mats, and the other part is mixed with plastic waste before being crushed, processed into granules and then made into various plastic products.
