MICHELIN GUIDE CEREMONY

France & Monaco

Mon. 16th March 2026

For the first time, Monaco will host the Michelin Guide Ceremony for France & Monaco, an iconic event where the newly starred restaurants and the winners of the Special Awards for the 2026 selection will be revealed. This ceremony reflects a joint initiative by the Principality of Monaco and the Société des Bains de Mer, partners of the event, whose commitment demonstrates a shared ambition to showcase the region through its gastronomy.

This edition marks an important milestone in the history of the Guide : for the fifth consecutive year, the ceremony celebrates the regions highlighted in the French and Monegasque selections. The choice of Monaco, an international reference for fine dining, illustrates this commitment.

Featured in the Michelin Guide France & Monaco since its very first edition in 1900, the Principality has always been a source of inspiration for gastronomy and the art of living. Today, it is home to world-renowned chefs who place Monaco firmly on the map of must-visit culinary destinations.

Currently, the Michelin Guide recommends 16 Monegasque establishments (one with three stars, three with two stars, and four with one star), making Monaco the state with the highest concentration of Michelin-starred restaurants in the world ! From Japan to Lebanon, via Italy, Provence and the Caribbean, gourmets can enjoy exceptional and distinctive culinary experiences from the Rock.
