Grimaldi Forum Monaco and CMB Monaco Welcome AMAPEI

22 juillet 2026

On Monday 20 July, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco welcomed a group of people with disabilities accompanied by AMAPEI (Monaco Association for the Support and Protection of Children and Adults with Disabilities), as part of the"Culture & Inclusion"programme, developed since 2023 in partnership with its longstanding partner, CMB Monaco.

The 17 participants enjoyed a tailored tour of the exhibitionMonaco & the Automobile, from 1893 to the Present Day, followed by a creative workshop entitled"The Rally Poster". Drawing inspiration from advertising posters dating from the 1930s to the 1970s, they explored the graphic design codes of the period before creating their own A3-sized posters using collage and colouring techniques.

Following its first participation in 2025, AMAPEI renewed its involvement in the programme this year. Arrimage also takes part annually by offering a tour specially adapted for blind and visually impaired visitors. As part of this initiative, Braille exhibition labels, produced in collaboration with the Grimaldi Forum, are available to all visitors throughout the exhibition.

Since its launch in 2023, this pilot initiative promoting greater cultural accessibility has enabled the Grimaldi Forum Monaco and CMB Monaco to welcome a wide range of audiences. Following visits by children supported by Les Enfants de Frankie during the exhibition Monet in Full Light, the programme also welcomed children, teenagers and young adults with autism through Monaco Disease Power during the exhibitionsTurner, the Sublime Legacy and Colours: Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou.

Through the"Culture & Inclusion"programme, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco continues its commitment to making culture accessible to all. Admission to the exhibition Monaco & the Automobile, from 1893 to the Present Dayis free for visitors with disabilities. One accompanying person benefits from a 50% reduced admission fee (€7.50).
