Culture & Inclusion

23 juillet 2025

On Monday, July 21, a group of people with disabilities, supported by AMAPEI – Association Monégasque pour l’Aide et la Protection de l’Enfance Inadaptée – were welcomed at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco as part of its “Culture and Inclusion” initiative, launched in 2023 in collaboration with its long-time partner CMB Monaco.

Around fifteen participants were given a personalized tour of the exhibition “Colours! Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou.” The visit featured an interactive experience focused on colours and their significance, including elements of body expression based on emotion: “What does this color make you feel? How can you express it through movement?”

In 2023, this pilot project aimed at broadening access to culture allowed the Grimaldi Forum and CMB Monaco to welcome, during the Monet in Full Light exhibition, children from the region accompanied by the association Les Enfants de Frankie. Then in 2024, during « Turner’s Sublime Legacy » exhibition, a group of children, teenagers, and young adults with autism were brought together by the association Monaco Disease Power (who are visiting again on July 23).

The exhibition “Colours! Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou” is accessible to People with Disabilities (PWD), with a total ticket price of 14 euros for both the PWD and their accompanying person.
