CMB Monaco places its trust in the Grimaldi Forum Monaco for 2024

10 janvier 2024

The renewal of the partnership between the most Monegasque private bank and the Principality's Cultural and Congress Center was formalized at the Indigo Space on January 9, an official and premium partnership that shall remain steadfast in the long term !

Signed by CMB Monaco Chairman Etienne Franzi and CEO Francesco Grosoli, together with Grimaldi Forum Chairman Henri Fissore and General Manager Sylvie Biancheri, the agreement covers support for the entire programming of the Grimaldi Forum on behalf of CMB Monaco in the Principality. While associated with the image of the Grimaldi Forum, CMB Monaco will allow the Forum to develop its cultural activities and will additionally contribute to the Principality's outreach.

Thanking CMB Monaco for its support, Henri Fissore wanted to “ commend the consistency of this sponsorship action," a “ historic partnership ” for Etienne Franzi, “ which symbolizes the great confidence we have in this dynamic Institution which we have associated the image of our bank with for 19 years now ! ".

Evolving with the times and in line with the values of the two signatory entities, this premium partnership also includes collaboration in the field of CSR. In 2023, a pilot project to open up culture for as many people as possible allowed for the accomodation of children from the region accompanied by the Association Les Enfants de Frankie during the Monet in full light exhibition. To be continued this year, this CSR project will be conducted with the Association Monaco Disease Power this time and will provide autistic children, adolescents, and young adults the opportunity to participate in plastic arts workshops and to visit the Grimaldi Forum's 2024 exhibition, Turner, the Sublime Legacy.

Committed to CSR for many years, CMB Monaco has begun to reflect on its areas of commitment to E.S.G., the implementation of which will make it possible to generate value in a sustainable way. “Far from greenwashing, we are eager to have a concrete, real, and beneficial impact for all of our stakeholders, in particular our clients, our shareholders, and our employees,” emphasizes Francesco Grosoli. Clients thus have access to so-called “responsible” financial products, which provide a good investment opportunity. At the employee level, the leading international private bank in Monaco has put in place a set of measures that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion under the impetus of its shareholder Mediobanca. CMB Monaco, which has 52% women among its employees, has thereby obtained the Fair On Pay certificate, which distinguishes it as a fair employer and puts emphasis on its lasting commitment to equal pay.

Certified ISO 14001 since 2008, the Grimaldi Forum is now part of a more global CSR approach and obtained its ISO 20121 certification for the first time in 2023. The Forum's social responsibility charter (online on its website) lists all of its environmental, social, and solidarity-based progress and projects, published as part of a continuous approach to evolve. Among its myriad actions, the implementation since 2022 of a working day for each of its employees to the benefit of a civic association in the Principality, the eco-design of its exhibitions, the development of teleworking, or even the efforts against wasting food and insecurity.
