Grimaldi Forum Monaco: a record - breaking 2025!
and already historic prospects for 2026

Gathered on 13 January at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, more than 700 clients, partners andjournalists were presented with anexceptional review of 2025, marked by the delivery of amajor building extension, record levels of activity and momentum that is already shaping 2026as a historic year.
2025: a milestone anniversary year and a record - breaking performance
Celebrating its 25th anniversary, 2025 represents a major turning point for the Grimaldi Forum Monaco with the completion of its building extension as part of the Mareterra project. This large-scale transformation has added 6,000 m² of new exhibition space, complemented by 2,000 m² of outdoor areas, significantly enhancing the venue’s capacity and attractiveness.
The year closed with historic financial and operational results:
- €28 million in revenue, up 17% compared with 2024;
- Extension occupancy targets met, with a one-third occupancy rate achieved in its very first year;
- Record attendance figures and nearly 100 events hosted (43 cultural and 64 business events).
Among the highlights, the summer exhibition “Colours! Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou” ranked among the Top 3 most successful exhibitions ever hosted at the Grimaldi Forum, attracting 76,500 visitors. On the business events side, several gatherings reached unprecedented attendance levels, led by AMWC, which brought together 17,000 participants over four days, occupying the entire venue, including the extension. Other major events included the Blue Economy & Finance Forum (BEFF), the EAO Congress (European Association of Osseointegration), the Milwaukee Convention, and the Forbes Travel Guide Summit.
“The year 2025 will be remembered as a major turning point for the Grimaldi Forum. The loyalty of our clients, the enhanced attractiveness of the venue and our ability to attract new international events are enabling us to reach a new stage in our development,”emphasised Sylvie Biancheri, General Manager of the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.
CSR commitment and institutional recognition
In 2025, Grimaldi Forum Monaco renewed its ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 certifications, confirming the strength of its environmental and social responsibility commitments. Key initiatives included:
- Nearly 26 tonnes redistributed, including 1.3 tonnes of food donations;
- One « solidarity day » per employee dedicated to supporting Monegasque non-profit projects.
This commitment was recognised by the 2025 Handipact Award from the Government of Monaco for inclusive initiatives implemented during the summer exhibition.
The Grimaldi Forum Monaco and its management team also received several major professional distinctions, including Best International Convention Centre at the M&IT Awards, as well as managerial awards recognising its General Manager.
2026: already an exceptional momentum
Buoyed by renewed confidence from its long-standing clients and the arrival of new, mainly European clients, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is enjoying very strong momentum and has already met its increased commercial targets for 2026. The year’s programme will include events that enhance the international appeal of the Principality, such as the Michelin Guide Ceremony, the Conference of Sports Ministers, and La Vuelta, as well as promising second editions like the Forbes Travel Guide Summit.
On the cultural front, the year begins with the return of international touring exhibitions: “Colours!” is presented at the Minsheng Art Museum in Beijing from 24 January to 15 April 2026.
This summer, a brand-new exhibition will celebrate more than 130 years of automotive history in Monaco: “Monaco and the Automobile, from 1893 to the Present Day”, from 1 July to 6 September.
The live performance programme also promises to be rich and diverse, featuring concerts, musicals, ballets, theatre productions and one-man shows.
Season presentation video – first half of the year
A long-standing partner and official sponsor of the Grimaldi Forum, CMB Monaco renewed its patronage agreement with the institution on 13 January 2026 for the 21st consecutive year. This long-term partnership, built on shared values and supporting both cultural and business events at the Grimaldi Forum, has also included since 2023 the annual development of a project with a strong social dimension as part of the summer exhibition.
