The Spitfires, a British rock band from Watford, have established themselves as a leading figure in the modern “Mod revival,” blending punk, ska, and soul influences in the spirit of The Jam or The Clash.
Led by singer-songwriter Billy Sullivan, the band made a strong comeback in late 2025 with the album MKII: raw lyrics and groovy instrumentals that never stray far from the spirit of original British punk.
The press hails their intense and powerful live performances, calling the band “working-class heroes” with a thick Cockney accent!
