Yarol Poupaud became known in the 1990s with his band FFF, which will play in 1998 as the first part of Johnny Hallyday’s concert at the Stade de France. In 2011, when Johnny’s album "Jamais seul" was promoted with Matthieu Chedid, he had a busy schedule and the name Poupaud, who collaborated with Niagara, was blown away. He becomes the guitarist and musical director of the singer during his last 6 years of concerts, «a fantastic and unforgettable experience» according to his words.
The latest Albums
2021: "Hot Like Dynamite" (live @ MOTORBASS) was designed over the thousands of kilometres travelled during Yarol Poupaud’s first solo tour and completed at the legendary Parisian studio Motorbass.
2022: Yarol has just released an album, "Fils de personne", in which he takes songs from the period he prefers by Johnny Hallyday, from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. His way of paying tribute to Johnny Hallyday.
