From 1 July to 6 September 2026, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco will present a major exhibition retracing over a century of mechanical passion. From the first car to drive through the Principality’s streets to the legendary Grand Prix machines, discover the unique story between Monaco and the automobile.
Royal cars, collector vehicles (Concours d’élégance, Rallye Monte-Carlo, Grand Prix de Monaco) and previously unseen archives from the Automobile Club will be brought together in an exhibition punctuated with immersive experiences designed by Rodolphe Rapetti, General Heritage Curator.
A celebration of heritage, speed, and style — at the heart of Monaco’s summer season.
An immersion in 130 years of automotive history
Covering 4,000 m², the exhibition “Monaco and the Automobile, from 1893 to the present day” will bring together around fifty iconic vehicles, including more than 20 cars that have won the Monaco Grand Prix or the Monte Carlo Rally, as well as items from the Princely Family and previously unseen archives from the Automobile Club de Monaco.
