François Truffaut Night
It's time for "The Last Metro"
François Truffaut has been gone for 30 years. On the periphery of the tribute paid to him by the Cinémathèque Française in Paris, the Archives Audiovisuelles de Monaco presents: “The Last Metro” by François Truffaut (1980), with Catherine Deneuve, Gérard Depardieu, Heinz Bennent, Sabine Haudepin, Jean Poiret, and Andréa Ferréol.
An MK2 and Cinémathèque Française restoration.

Produced in 1980, “The Last Metro” continued François Truffaut's work in the world of show business begun in 1973 with “Day for Night”. In the wake of cinema, the director films the story of a theatre troupe in Occupied Paris. As in “Jules and Jim” or “The Soft Skin”, François Truffaut also explores the love triangle.
