10 years of Osteology Foundation
For the Osteology Foundation, the Monaco Symposium is very special, after all, this is the place where it will be celebrating its ten years in operation. Since Dr. Peter Geistlich established the Foundation in 2003 together with a group of internationally renowned periodontists and oral surgeons, it has been funding research projects and making current knowledge on regenerative therapies available for practitioners. With the continuing education of over 20’000 dentists and oral-maxillofacial surgeons at various Osteology Symposia, the funding of 40 research projects and many other activities the Osteology Foundation has really made its motto "Linking science with practice in regeneration" come to life.
