It's five years since actor and comic Gad Elmaleh's last one-man show but now he's back with a new one called Sans Tambour – literally "without drums", meaning "no fuss".
New characters, unexpected situations and topics touching mainly on the differences between men and women, the annoyances of fame, his childhood in Morocco, and those little foibles that make the French so... French!
Any show by this comedian, a favourite with audiences, is bound to be hilarious since Gad Elmaleh is a past master at brilliant improvisation, stage antics and scathing rejoinders, so Sans Tambour undoubtedly resounds loudly with the talent of this one-man laughter band.
