Ever 2014's goal istwo-fold: to stimulate the use of renewable energies and improve energy efficiency, and to promote cleaner mobility through the increased use of electric and hybrid vehicles for personal transport.
From 25 to 27 March the conference will offerthree days of scientific lectures on topics of interest to researchers, academics, students and business leaders, as well as workshops and round tables that the public can attend free of charge.
The topics explored will notably include energy transition and its impact, energy efficiency challenges, and innovative solutions for storing energy, and on the mobility theme, the progress and future of clean vehicles plus a Ladies in Mobility round table on electric mobility in smart cities.
A hothouse of innovation likewise instrumental in promoting good practices, Ever will as usual host the Youth and Sustainable Development debates, plus a series of round tables organised by the Paris Ecological Vehicles Club.
New for Ever 2014 will be a Sustainable Village showcasing renewable energies on grouped functional stands conducive to business meetings, and the final of the METHA Europe 2014 competition for managing energy usage in transport and housing, organised by the Ecoles des Mines engineering schools.
