Joan Baez symbolizes a generation of artists politically committed.She is an icon of the challenge and protestation. Close to artists like Bob Dylan, which she will sing many songs, Joan Baez is in the folk a means of expressing social criticism. For five decades as a singer, activist, and goodwill ambassador, Joan Baez sang with the same mindset. In 2007, she was rewarded in the Lifetime Achievement Award from National Academy of Arts and Sciences Drive.
As part of her tour in France, Joan Baez will perform at the Salle des Princes at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on October 4 at 8 pm.
