CONCERT OF THE MONTE CARLO PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

Sun. 2nd December 2012

Prestigious concert

At 6:00 pm in the Salle des Princes, a great conductor and a great pianist will be together for famous works of classical music: Ravel’s Waltz, Grieg’s Concerto for piano, Strauss’ Don Juan, and the famous Bolero of Ravel. Conducted by the great American maestro of Japanese origin, Kent Nagano, who is recognized internationally as one of the most innovative and most inspired interpreters of the operatic and symphonic repertoire. In September 2006, he became the music director of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra as well as the general music director of the Bayerische Staatsoper (the Bavarian State Opera of Munich). And you will hear the prodigious pianist Evgueny Kissin interpreting Grieg’s concerto.
