The group Alliance Boots, a leading international health and beauty-oriented pharmacy, will hold its International Convention in Monaco, from Wednesday 1st to Friday, June 3, 2011, under the theme "Becoming a champion of international health."
Held at the Grimaldi Forum, the event will bring together around one thousand delegates from 25 countries in which Alliance Boots develops its activities. Leaders of major international pharmaceutical companies and representatives of national and European associations of pharmacists will also be present. The gala dinner will be held at the Sporting Club of Monaco on June 2 in the presence of several dignitaries of the Principality and its government.
This Convention is the second since the establishment of the Group in July 2006 through the merger between Alliance UniChem and Boots Group. It will be an opportunity for members of the Executive Committee (Stefano Pessina, Executive Chairman, Ornella Barra, Chief Executive, Pharmaceutical Wholesale Division; Alex Gourlay, Chief Executive, Health and Beauty Division, George Fairweather, Group Finance Director, Marco Pagni, Group Legal Counsel & Chief Administrative Officer) to share with all the managers of the Group's roadmap for the future and growth strategy which aims to make the company the world leader in its sector.
The conference will include presentations, panel discussions, interactive sessions and exhibits that allow participants to take the full measure of progress and goals to achieve medium and long term.
