In line with the Principality of Monaco’s long-standing commitment to sustainable development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of the Grimaldi Forum. Since its creation in 2000, it has positioned itself as a committed player in its homeland and in the events industry, with action as its sole driving force, in the service of a sustainable society for future generations.

LEADING FIGURES OF CSR AT THE GRIMALDI FORUM MONACO
In 2023, Françoise Rossi, previously Sales and Development Director of the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, becomes Director of CSR, a newly created position.
Its mission: to energize and promote the company's CSR policy, detailed in its social responsibility charter. For Sylvie Biancheri, General Director of the Grimaldi Forum, "Françoise Rossi's perfect knowledge of the entities involved as well as that of the speakers and clients in the events sector, constitutes added value which will make it possible to optimize the implementation of the tools of this policy".
Maureen Aubert, Environment Manager, Certifications and Legal Officer, plays a central role in coordinating certifications and aligning our standards. She also orchestrates the quarterly meetings of the CSR committee of the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, where concrete actions are planned in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 certifications.
Each year, the committee focuses on targeted actions, aligned with the three CSR pillars of the Grimaldi Forum Monaco. This strategic approach ensures that every action taken has a significant impact.

THINK GLOBAL, ACT LOCAL
On February 15, the GFM lights up in orange to highlight the “Flavien Foundation, a new hope”, the first Monegasque association to fight against pediatric cancers and rare diseases in the Principality.
During this day, GFM teams are invited to various educational workshops dedicated to the protection of wildlife and the preservation of the local ecosystem.
The GFM lights up in pink, every year in October, to join forces with Pink Ribbon Monaco on the occasion of the “Pink October” operation which fights against breast cancer and reminds us that screening means saving lives. lives !
For 15 years, the Grimaldi Forum has participated in the No Finish Line Monaco (NFL). With around a hundred registered employees, the team is keen to support NFL projects for disadvantaged or sick children.
The opportunity to share actions, commitments and set up a joint study project on the consideration of CSR within the supply chains of GFM events.
After the closing of the LUXE PACK MONACO show, the Grimaldi Forum shared more than 300 uneaten salads and sandwiches between its employees and the solidarity association Soupe de nuit.
On the occasion of the GFM's anniversary, all its employees were able to experience 2 exceptional days in the famous park. On the program, treasure hunts, cohesion workshops, themed dinner and sensational attractions!
The transporter André Chenue provided a precise assessment of the CO2 emissions produced during the transport of the works: more than 20% savings, or 30 tonnes less CO2 in the balance!
This year, the GFM teams had the pleasure of delving into the exceptional world of Claude Monet during his major summer exhibition.
As part of its partnership with CMB Monaco, the GFM had the immense pleasure of welcoming a group of children accompanied by volunteers from the Les Enfants de Frankie association for a guided tour of the major summer exhibition “Monet en Full Light”.
500m2 of carpets were provided for this event to protect the floor from paint splashes. This initiative helps avoid the unnecessary manufacturing of new carpets while offering a second life to those already used by the GFM.
In order to combat daily food waste, unsold items from the GFM company restaurant are now offered at reduced prices to its staff at the very end of service, in MaConsigne containers.
