Nomade by "les Etoiles du Cirque de Mongolie", the new Cirque Phénix show
The Mongolian circus, located in the south of Russia and in the north of China, is in the image of its people: singular, independent and heir to a centuries-old tradition. A nomadic people, accustomed to roaming the vastness of its territory to record its history. A nomadic camp settles on the stage… A yurt is used as a shelter… The fire stoked, the musicians then resonate their first notes. In the distance, in the dark, you can guess the contours of an animal, then… a wolf, a leopard, a yack… A horde of horses approach to observe the newcomers. They are 50 amazing artists! Nomadic, but mostly acrobatic! Jugglers, contortionists, acrobats, clowns, musicians, dancers and singers. The superb look, adorned with their sparkling fabrics, they tell us about their journey, punctuating their story with their extraordinary prowess never seen before in a circus.
