  EMILIO AMBASZ EXHIBITION
Green over Grey exhibition
The art of reconciling Architecture and Nature

This exhibition of models and photographs of the Argentinian architect EMILIO AMBASZ's projects and accomplishments shows us how the now vital issue of combining architecture and ecology can be tackled.
Through concrete examples of buildings designed and built in Japan, the USA and Europe, the architect proves that the practical and financially viable means for making nature an integral part of our urban environments do indeed exist.

EXHIBITION KYOTO-TOKYO : FROM SAMURAIS TO MANGAS
This exhibition will be an invitation to travel through space and time to the heart of a Japan that has left the imprint of its history on three emblematic places: Kyoto, Tokyo and between the two the historic Tokaido, the road linking old and new capitals.

First Kyoto as it was in medieval times: its artistic wealth (including the screen paintings of the Kano School) but also the key figures who ensured its supremacy until the 16th century – its samurais, its monks and its men of letters who produced some of Japanese literature's finest gems. For more information...

  LEONARDO DA VINCI EXHIBITION
Leonardo da Vinci exhibition
A dream of the future

Codex Atlanticus. Behind this name lies one of the most important collections of writings and drawings by the great Leonardo da Vinci. This precious and mysterious album conserved in Milan's Biblioteca Ambrosiana contains more than 1200 of the genius's drawings.
For 15 years, expert Giovanni Piumati at Italy's prestigious Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei worked with unstinting passion to transcribe this magnificent Code in its entirety, so making all its drawings and writings comprehensible to everyone. A limited number of copies of them have been printed on special paper for institutions and scholars, who more than four centuries on are able to study in depth the intellectual processes of one of the Italian Renaissance's greatest protagonists.
