In Monaco, Alliance Boots is international health champion
Friday, June 3rd, the Alliance Boots group, international health and beauty leader in pharmacy, ends its International Convention in the Principality of Monaco, around the theme “Becoming an international health champion”.
Organized at the Grimaldi Forum, the event gathered around one thousand delegates, coming from the 25 countries where Alliance Boots develops its activities. Leaders of important pharmaceutical international laboratories, as well as representatives of national and European associations of pharmacists were present too.
This Convention is the second since the Group’s creation in 2006, through the fusion between Alliance UniChem and Boots Group. It gave to the Executive Committee members (Stefano Pessina, Executive Chairman; Ornella Barra, Chief Executive, Pharmaceutical Wholesale Division; Alex Gourlay, Chief Executive, Health and Beauty Division; George Fairweather, Group Finance Director; Marco Pagni, Group Legal Counsel & Chief Administrative Officer) the occasion to share with the whole Group’s managers the planning for the years to come and the growth strategy that aims at turning the firm into the world leader in its sector.
This conference was composed of presentations, round tables, interactive sessions and exhibitions that gave the participants the opportunity to consider the progresses that have been made but also the objectives to reach on the medium and long term.
