In a building visited by 300,000 people every year and which has a permanent staff of 150, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco gives absolute top priority to safety and security. Thanks to our efficient staffing arrangements and high-technology, high-performance equipment, all business tourism and cultural events take place in a completely safe environment.

The Grimaldi Forum Monaco ensures full compliance with regulations and has a complete panoply of fire safety equipment including 1700 smoke detectors, an automatic sprinkler system throughout in case of fire and several hundred fire extinguishers. Our fire safety teams are on duty, on-site, day and night, monitoring constantly.

To ensure optimum safety and security for people and property, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco has an anti-intrusion system installed on every one of the 65 doors into the building, plus CCTV cameras permanently recording on a digital medium and relayed on the array of monitoring screens in the control room, where our safety officers monitor them at all times.

All persons wishing to enter the building or move around it must wear a badge, enabling the Grimaldi Forum Monaco to manage access and foot traffic in the building.

In addition, to make sure events always run smoothly, the GFM studies the needs of each one to provide tailored solutions backed up by additional resources: infrared detectors, contactors, mini CCTV cameras and, naturally, a number of risk-trained surveillance officers.
