An elegant bluesy voice, pitch-perfect poetic lyrics and delicate folk finger picking combine in engaging, catchy songs with pop attitude, all of which made this singer songwriter one of 2016's most exciting revelations and continues to sustain that interest. Drawing inspiration since childhood from observing his nearest and dearest, a family of musicians of diverse origins, David Zincke chose to expatriate himself with his cousins here on a Côte d'Azur that offered the musical opportunities he had always dreamt of. With them he played every night in the cafés and bars around Nice, now his adopted home. The story goes that in the course of one night on the town in the Riviera's capital, his path crossed that of Nice-born musician and producer Medi, recently returned home to develop the wealth of local musical talent. Enthusiastic about Zincke's music, Medi offered to produce him and the two have worked together ever since, notably on a much-anticipated first release. Music lovers, your sound systems are waiting for David Zincke!
