THE BEJART BALLET LAUSANNE & THE TOKYO BALLET

The Monaco Dance Forum is presenting in coproduction with the Grimaldi Forum, the Béjart Ballet Lausanne & the Tokyo Ballet together around the Beethoven’s 9th symphony
Accompanied by the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Antonino Fogliani and the choir of the Monte-Carlo opera, four solists : Aga MIKOLAJ, Karine OHANYAN, Donald LITAKER et Gerd GROCHOWSKI together the Béjart Ballet Lausanne and the Tokyo Ballet will perform a symbolic piece by Béjart, Beethoven’s 9th symphony.
This is not a ballet in the generally accepted sense of the word, this legendary work is a profound human participation in a work that belongs to the whole of humanity and which is not just played and sung here, but danced.
