3^rd to 5^th April, 2015, the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco will host a unique new exhibition in Europe, LikeBike, exclusively devoted to high-end bikes. This unprecedented event is positioned as a showcase of today’s most outstanding products in the international arena, combining design, innovation, technology, fashion and luxury. High-tech bicycles, electric bikes, mountain bikes and accessories will be presented to aiming satisfy the most demanding sportsmen, responding to a fully developed lifestyle, combining concerns for the environment, in addition to the well-being and satisfaction of bike-lovers. LikeBike Monaco will give you the urge to ride!

Spectacular events will be ongoing on the stunning esplanade of the Grimaldi Forum, including acrobatic bike demonstrations. The show will also host the winners of the most important international bike design competition and other bicycle artisans showing and explaining the manufacture and customisation of bicycles.

A spectacular Gala evening will be held with a focus on celebrating all things “Bike” whilst at the same time raising money for a well deserving charity - Monaco Aide et Présence (MAP).

To further add to the excitement before the show (and in association with the Fédération Monégasque de Cyclisme) a Criterium team relay, the LikeBike NiteRace™ challenge is being planned for Sunday, March 29^th 2015 - on Monaco’s famous Grand Prix “chicane du Port” with a mix of pro’s and amateur riders fighting it out.

‘LIKEBIKE’ MONTE CARLO’S EXCLUSIVE AND LUXURIOUS BIKE EXHIBITION ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIP OF THE FEDERATION MONEGASQUE DE CYCLISME’S CYCLING TEAM ‘UC MONACO’

LikeBike, a new, exceptional and premium brand exhibition celebrating all things bicycle in 2015, has proudly announced its sponsorship this season of the world renowned UC Monaco cycling team.
Founded in 1952, the historic UC Monaco is the only cycling team of the Fédération Monégasque de Cyclisme (operating under the umbrella of the UCI). Today, the club exists to promote cycling for young riders and has set up an international programme inviting cycling protégés train in Monaco.  The honour bestowed upon the candidates that are accepted in to the programme is great, only ten are selected from many hundreds of worldwide applicants.  This season the team consists of ten young riders from 5 nationalities who will participate in a European calendar of events, under the watchful eye of Directeur Sportif and UCI International Sport Director - Guido Possetto.
 

Monaco boasts the highest capital of resident pro-cyclists in the world, a total of thirty-five in 0.7 square miles, this coupled with the exceptional training and weather conditions it is easy to understand why Monaco is a top choice for young cyclists.  There is a huge wealth of experience within the Fédération itself - with 90% of the resident pro-cyclists being members.  Famous champions such as Eddy Merckx, Alexander Vinokurov, Philippe Gilbert and Christopher Froome are licenced to UC Monaco, ride for the Principality and regularly engage with the young riders’ training programme.
LikeBike is the concept of two passionate cyclists and Monaco residents - Wladimir Singer and Mark Hillsdon. Taking place in the glamorous city of Monte Carlo between 3^rd and 5^th April 2015, the exhibition will be exclusively devoted to high-end bikes, bike products and related technology manufacturers beyond mainstream markets. LikeBike and the Fédération will jointly present a NiteRace five days prior to the main exhibition on the 29^th March 2015, for enthusiast amateurs and pro-cyclists.  The race will take place around the world famous Port of Monaco - the only bike race to take place on an F1 Grand Prix circuit, and at night!
