Thursday April 19th, Salle Garnier, the Monte Carlo Opera, by the voice of its Director, Jean-Louis Grinda, has reaveled its programmation for 2012-2013, at the occasion of the traditional press conference.
This year the season will begin in advance in the calendar before the traditional opening of Monaco's National Day. On November 9th, "Duello Amoroso" of Haendel will be given at the Opera Garnier, followed by "La Fanciulla del West" of Puccini, from November 19th till 25th, in the Salle des Princes at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, .
The Opera has decided to play the youth card because some representations during the season will be only available to less than 26 years and a special subscription will be dedicated to them.
The program, rich in innovation, also includes the much anticipated performance of Cecilia Bartoli only the 6 March 2013 at the Grimaldi Forum, confirming the prestige acquired by the Principality on the international stage.
