Once upon a time... the Mercantour enchantments
These are themes dear to his heart and his Foundation: environment and tradition in a natural park located almost at the gates of the Principality ... This probably explains the popularity of HSH Prince Albert II and many actors of the valleys in the hinterland and the Principality at the Grimaldi Forum to discover the new book edited by Isopress.
These "Mercantour Enchantments" grew out of the meeting of the photographer Jean-Charles Vinaj and the storyteller Jacques Drouin, peppered with drawings by the illustrator Audrey Valette. They are found both in legends passed on by the words of the storyteller and the light captured by the photographer's lens. Both testify to their way of their shared passion for the Mercantour.
The output of this book is accompanied by a traveling exhibition that highlights the best Jean-Charles Vinaj's shots, that HSH the Sovereign Prince took time to detail.
