Naruto hypes the event!
With regard of a traditional Japan, the Grimaldi Forum’s exhibition makes the pretty part of a vision of the Country of the Rising Sun fixed on modernity. To illustrate this modern side, the organizers have mixed several artistic disciplines: architecture, robotics, cinema, contemporary art… and manga, whose heroes bring back to the tutelary face of the samurai.
And all the fans of mangas and others animated movies and videogames enjoy with the display of originals plank, celluloid and story boards of emblematic titles such as Goldorak or One Piece.
Between the sacred monsters of the manga creation, let’s mention numerous originals planks entered into the Pantheon of the comic book “made in Japan”:
Hiroshi Hirata will be present in the exhibition through about twenty of his originals: The thirty-six strategies of Kuroda (2004), Stronger than the sword (1993/1994/1995), Satsuma, the honor of his samourais (1978/1984/1985/1977), the strength of the humbles (1991/1992/1993).
Others artists represented by theirs originals: Suhiura Hinaki and Jirô Taniguchi and his immortal At the time of Botchan, Kazuo Kamimura, the creator of Lady Snowblood.
The honorable Tezuka have its proper pavilion to make shine its own heroes: Shin Takarajima, Astro Boy, Phénix, The Fire Bird.
Further, it’s Toei Production which exposes in all its forms its mythical Goldorak, surrounded by Saint Seya, Dragon Ball, One Piece, Clamp, Digimon Aventure, and the incontrovertible Naruto (with the presentation of the trailer of the game Naruto Storm 2 which will come out this autumn).
On his side, Yoshitaka Amano, the creator of Final Fantasy andFront Mission, presents his originals planks and videos trailers.
Finally, the section videogame honors the productions of SEGA and BANDAI-NAMCO, on PS3, Xbox and Wii… with in bonus many Japanese games that have never been diffused in Europe !
