In the European Royal Houses, children are kings
It is in a good mood and with drive that the first kids enrolled in the Grimaldi Forum Youth Workshops went on a discovery journey for the exposition on the Monarchies. On today’s program: the Spanish House!
Here goes about 15 children, age 4 to 6, in front of the renowned Don Quichotte tapestry, listening to stories about the famous impostor. Then comes the moment to put to practice what they have seen and let their imagination take over as they create their own blazon!
Tomorrow, they will go to France following the steps of the Emperor Napoléon and the beautiful Josephine. This time, they will be asked to make a royal, custom-made crown. Grinning like the Cheshire cat, they leave the workshop with their creation on top of their heads or in their hands. In the afternoon, it is the older's turn (7 to 12 years old) to put their artistic talents to test by participating to these ludic but also instructive activities !
