Be ready to live an EXTRA LARGE summer!
In the way to promote the summer exhibition in the Grimaldi Forum EXTRA LARGE (13 July to 9 September), a press conference brought together this tuesday, May 22 the representatives of the regional press and the key-actors of the event.
Extra Large, exhibition of monumental works, was born from the collaboration between the Centre Pompidou and the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.
At this occasion Ariane Coulondre, curator, has explained the synopsis of the exhibition detailing the artists who will be represented in the 3500 m2 of the space Ravel.
This crazy artistic adventure that brings together the masters of contemporary art looks like a challenge with the transfer of fifty monumental works (paintings, sculptures, installations, videos, pictures) from the collections of the art center in Paris to the Principality of Monaco .
Targetting a large audience, this exhibition will be focus on young people. As Sylvie Biancheri, General Manager of the Grimaldi Forum,pointed, the access will be free under the age of 18, "to make them sensitive at the culture and contemporary art".
